Privacy Policy

Hoteliers.ae Privacy Policy

Effective date: [19 September 2026]

Hoteliers.ae (“Hoteliers.ae”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates an online hospitality industry platform connecting hospitality professionals, hotels, investors, consultants, suppliers and service providers.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you use Hoteliers.ae.

1. Information we collect

When you create a Hoteliers.ae account, we may collect information including:

  • first and last name;
  • email address;
  • company, hotel or organisation;
  • job title or professional role;
  • professional profile/category;
  • country;
  • account login and security information; and
  • information you voluntarily provide through enquiries, reviews or other platform features.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, browser information, IP address, login activity and website usage information where required for security, administration and analytics.

2. Email verification

Hoteliers.ae requires users to confirm their email address before receiving full member access.

Email confirmation demonstrates access to the email account provided. It does not by itself confirm a person’s employment, purchasing authority, professional qualifications or identity.

Additional verification may be introduced for particular platform functions.

3. Supplier information

Suppliers may provide business information including:

  • company details;
  • business address;
  • countries and territories served;
  • products and services;
  • company photographs and logos;
  • business contact information;
  • business registration or trade licence information;
  • tax or VAT information where applicable;
  • professional, product or quality certificates;
  • client references; and
  • other business credentials.

Certain supplier documents may be collected privately for administrative review and will not automatically be made available to other members.

4. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • create and administer user accounts;
  • verify email addresses;
  • provide access to the supplier marketplace;
  • operate supplier listings;
  • process enquiries between members and suppliers;
  • administer reviews and ratings;
  • investigate misuse, fraud or security incidents;
  • improve website functionality;
  • communicate important service information;
  • provide customer support; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

We will not treat account registration as automatic consent to unrelated promotional marketing.

5. Supplier enquiries

When you deliberately submit an enquiry to a supplier, information shown in the enquiry form—such as your name, company, email address and message—may be shared with that supplier so it can respond.

Simply viewing a supplier profile does not automatically mean your personal contact information will be disclosed to that supplier.

6. Ratings and reviews

Where reviews are enabled, Hoteliers.ae may collect information relating to a reviewer’s experience with a supplier.

We may request additional information to assess whether a review relates to a genuine business interaction.

Supporting evidence submitted for moderation will not normally be made public.

Suppliers may be allowed to respond to reviews.

7. Supplier documents and verification

Uploading a certificate, licence, registration document or other credential does not automatically mean that Hoteliers.ae has independently verified it.

Where Hoteliers.ae performs a specific check, the platform may display the nature and date of that check.

Any verification label will relate only to the specific information reviewed and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a supplier’s quality, solvency, performance or suitability.

8. Who we may share information with

We may share information where necessary with:

  • suppliers you intentionally contact;
  • hosting, email, security and technology providers supporting the platform;
  • professional advisers;
  • regulators, law-enforcement bodies or competent authorities where legally required; and
  • service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate arrangements.

We do not intend to sell registered users’ personal information to advertisers.

9. Public and member-only information

Parts of Hoteliers.ae may be available publicly.

Supplier identities, supplier profiles and certain marketplace information may be restricted to registered members.

Users should understand that information they choose to submit publicly through reviews or other public-facing features may be visible to other authorised users.

10. Cookies and website technologies

Hoteliers.ae may use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as:

  • keeping users signed in;
  • remembering website preferences;
  • protecting accounts;
  • measuring website performance; and
  • understanding how the platform is used.

Where legally required, optional cookies or analytics technologies will be managed through appropriate consent controls.

11. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and account credentials.

12. Data retention

We aim to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account administration, legal obligations, dispute handling and security.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information.

Supplier verification documents may be subject to separate retention requirements.

13. International data transfers

Hoteliers.ae may use technology providers or interact with users and suppliers located outside the UAE.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we will take steps appropriate to the applicable legal requirements.

14. Your rights

Depending on the law applicable to you and Hoteliers.ae, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion and to raise concerns regarding certain processing activities.

Requests can be submitted using the contact details below.

The UAE’s official privacy guidance recognises the importance of protecting personal information and restricting access to those who need it for the relevant purpose.

15. Third-party websites

Hoteliers.ae may link to supplier websites, LinkedIn or other external services.

Those organisations operate under their own privacy practices. Hoteliers.ae is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.

16. Children

Hoteliers.ae is intended as a professional business platform and is not designed for children.

Users must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise permitted under applicable law and expressly authorised by Hoteliers.ae.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform develops or legal requirements change.

The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
